- CUSTOMER SERVICE
If, for whatever reason, you find yourself unhappy for some reason or really happy about something we’ve done- we would love to hear about it. We can’t do a good job without feedback, so please let us know one way or another. Please send suggestions, comments, or order inquires to our e-mail at Contact Us or call 1-808-661-1600. Store hours are 9-9 daily Hawaii Time.
- UNIQUE PRODUCTS
Many of our items are handcrafted, so please expect slight variations in finish and size. If an item is out of stock, we will contact you on the next available business day on the phone number or e-mail address you provide.
- DAMAGED ITEMS
Care and aloha was taken with each shipment that leaves our store- If your product was damaged in shipping, BEFORE RETURNING, please call us or e-mail us immediately. We will be happy to reimburse or replace your item; HOWEVER, the original packaging MUST BE RETAINED for inspection by our mailing service. Call us at 808-661-1600 or Contact Us immediately and we will arrange this inspection at your earliest convenience. We cannot reimburse or replace your item unless this occurs.
- RETURNS
When returning items, please be sure to re-ship in original packaging within 7 days of receipt and please indicate the reason to help us improve. Shipping charges will apply (and because of this, it’s best just to keep the item, make it work, or give it to someone you love.)
- OVERSIZED ITEMS
Because some our products are oversized (we’ve indicated those items on our web), we need to arrange special shipping based on your zip code. Please call us during our store hours, and we will be happy to calculate a shipping charge for these items.
- SHIPPING
We try to ship all our items via Federal Express Ground. This is the least expensive service available by Federal Express. It can take 1-3 weeks for your package to be delivered, and we cannot guarantee deliver dates (absolutely no guarantee for Christmas deliveries). We require an indirect signature on all our packages. Every effort will be made to get your package out on the Thursday following your purchase for our regular weekly Thursday pickups. At that point, your package is in the hands of Federal Express. We will happy to provide you with a Fed Ex Ground tracking number so you can track your own package. Questions regarding the actual shipping of your items can be directed to Fed Ex at 1-800-463-3339. At this time, we cannot ship to foreign countries (including Canada), or US territories.
- SALES TAX
Unlike the contiguous US states, Hawaii does not have a sales tax. We, instead have a 4.167% excise tax. We are required by law to collect applicable taxes, so all will apply on your order.
- GIFT ORDERS
We will be happy to include a personalized gift card in each order at no additional charge. Banana Wind gift wrap is $4.95 per item. Please add separate shipping and handling charge for each address.
